Evaluation

I found this project very useful for my artistic development as it allowed me to work in different ways then I would in my A Level Art and Photography courses and meant I was a lot more expressive in my methods of creating artwork.

Teaching myself how to mount my finished pieces. - add images

For my exhibition I would like to present my work on boards and give any work on paper to have a white or black boarder around it to create a neat finish to my artwork. The first piece I intend to mount on black is my Pop Art Artist study of Roy Lichtenstein's work. this piece is in coloured pencils on an A3 piece of cartridge paper. with this piece being of a reasonable size I think it is a good option to mount first. Materials needed to mount: - Black paper (to cut into strips) - White paper (to cut into strips) - Guillotine  - A glue stick  Step 1 Apply glue to the back of an artwork piece  Step 2 Place the sticky side down on white paper  Step 3 Use the guillotine to trim an equal edge of white to each side  Step 4 Then repeat this process on black paper.
