Sinéad's EPQ

She was born in Lima, Peru in 1980, she lives and works in her native city. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Art and her work is very well known and is displayed in a number of exhibitions shown in both important public and private collections, reaching out into Spanish and North American collections.   First I looked through the pieces she has done to find some inspiration to create a similar piece of artwork. The first piece i created was an acrylic painting on a canvas of a range of flowers, with a pink theme, with a white background. I then drew on top of my painting using a black acrylic paint pen. However, I didn't like the look of this as I hadn't done enough flowers or made them big enough to fill the canvas meaning there was a quite a lot of the blank canvas showing.  Inspiration Images: My Interpretation: The second piece I attempted was another floral piece but this time I made sure to make the flowers a significant size and to make a quantity to cover the whole canvas. I used the same size canvas as the first, but painted it black to give it a black background and a darker theme then the first.
