Andy Warhol
Andy Warhol was a pop artist who focused his work around advertising, celebrities and artistic expression. He is most well known for his work in the style of pop art. in the 1960's he created some of his most famous work such as Cambell's Soup cans, dollar bills and Marilyn Monroe. The Factory, the studio where he created his artwork later became a hotspot for celebrities and creative people to meet. Warhol worked with a range of different media including, paint, sculpture, printmaking, film and music. He wrote numerous books and also started up his own magazine, Interview Magazine. in the 1970's he produced a number of works for celebrities like John Lennon and Diana Ross and later went onto open the New York Academy of Art.
